Non-surgical rhinoplasty

Dermal filler may be used to correct structural irregularities or contour deficits in the nose, particularly in patients with congenital asymmetry. This non-surgical procedure allows for precise volume placement along the nasal dorsum or sidewalls to address indentations, angle irregularities, or surface contour changes. It is especially effective when the nasal structure appears imbalanced in lateral or oblique views, which can result from tissue loss or developmental variation.

WHAT IS NON-SURGICAL RHINOPLASTY?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty, also known as liquid rhinoplasty, involves the use of dermal fillers to address minor structural irregularities of the nose without the need for surgery. This minimally invasive procedure may be suitable for individuals with congenital asymmetry or developmental contour imbalance, where there is a clinically assessed structural concern affecting nasal shape or proportion.

The process begins with a thorough medical consultation to assess the nasal anatomy and determine whether treatment is appropriate. Where clinically indicated, small amounts of hyaluronic acid-based filler are used to restore smooth nasal contours, correct depressions or irregularities, and support improved facial balance.

The procedure typically takes around 15 minutes and is performed using a topical anaesthetic to minimise discomfort. Results are visible immediately, with most patients able to return to normal activities shortly after treatment. Some mild swelling or bruising may occur but usually resolves within a few days.

As the body naturally breaks down the filler over time, the effects are temporary. Maintenance treatments may be recommended to sustain the results, depending on the individual’s response and goals.
