Mesotherapy face treatment is very popular throughout Europe, but it’s less common in the UK. I always find this a bit strange because mesotherapy benefits a wide array of skin concerns. In my professional opinion, mesotherapy before and after photos are some of the most impressive.
At my aesthetic clinic London, I frequently talk about mesotherapy to address fine lines, hair loss, and dehydrated skin. Read ahead to learn more about mesotherapy and how it can help you get the skin of your dreams.
What is Mesotherapy Treatment?
Mesotherapy is a blend of hyaluronic acid and peptides, amino acids, enzymes, antioxidants, and plant-based botulinum toxin A and SNAP 8. SNAP 8 is an octapeptide that can relax facial muscle contractions. Together, these ingredients boost your own natural collagen and elastin production, decrease inflammation, and give your skin more hydration.
The mesotherapy cocktail is applied with ultra-fine needles into the middle layer of your skin. In fact, this is where the word mesotherapy comes from – the mesoderm is the skin’s middle layer.
During our personalised skincare consultation, I listen to your concerns and create a bespoke plan best suited for your needs. We can target elasticity, radiance, firmness, and sagginess. As a result, you’ll look more youthful and well-rested when you look in the mirror.
Mesotherapy Face – What Problems Can It Treat?
With your concerns in mind, I create a treatment plan to address all of your specific needs. Here are just a few of the concerns mesotherapy can treat:
- Firming sagging skin
- Brightening dull and tired skin
- Fading stretch marks
- Rejuvenating aged skin
- Brightening dark circles under the eyes
- Reducing acne and spots
- Tightening loose skin
- Firming cellulite on the body
- Lightening dark pigmentation on the skin
- Encouraging hair growth in patients with alopecia
- Smooth eye contour
- Reduce swelling around the eyes
Some patients look at the impressive mesotherapy before and after photos and wonder if it can do the same for them. The answer is yes! Mesotherapy can be used all over your face, even under your eyes.
How is Mesotherapy Administered?
The U225 Meso Gun is often used to administer the treatment. This is a sophisticated injector that injects your customised blend approximately 3mm under the surface of your skin. Then, through thousands of tiny micro-injections, the product is absorbed into all layers of your skin.
This is much less painful than traditional injections done by hand and takes less time. Many patients say that it is nearly pain-free – they even have their treatment on a lunch break!
How Long Do Mesotherapy Results Last?
The treatment course is six sessions every 1 to 2 weeks. You’ll start to see some results along the way, with the most dramatic results after the entire course is complete. As the new collagen and elastin form, the results will become even more noticeable.
You’ll see the results for around 12 months, at which time the 6-treatment course can be repeated. In the meantime, you’ll have healthy, glowing skin that makes you look and feel your best.
